| This was an exceptionally good vintage for us which was somewhat surprising having regard to poor vintages in other wine growing areas. The sugar level, pH and acidity of the fruit were ideal and we are very hopeful that this will produce our best ever vintage. | |

| Our 2004 vintage was bottled using screw caps for the first time. We are proposing to use screw caps for all our future vintages. | |

| In the 2005 edition of James Halliday's Australian Wine Companion, Studley Park Vineyard was awarded 4 stars which is a rating given to wineries which produce consistently high quality wines. | |

| The Australian Wine Companion 2005 rated the 2000 vintage with 4 goblets which is awarded to wines of above average quality, fault free and with clear varietal expression. | |

| Jeremy Oliver, one of Australia's leading wine writers, has awarded the 2001 vintage with a 93 rating which is in the gold medal category. His review includes: “ … utterly charming… cabernet whose floral perfume of violets, vibrant cassis-like fruit and cedar/vanilla oak reveals nuances of herbs and minerals. Fine and elegant, tight and sound, it's long and restrained, with a supple and medium to full weight palate of pristine berry fruit wound around slightly bony tannins. Very Bordeaux-like and a real surprise. (Melbourne, 18.0, 93, drink 2006-2009+)” |

| Our 2002 and 2003 vintages are still maturing in oak. Both are relatively small vintages and therefore available stocks will be limited. Bottling is scheduled for early 2005. | |
| 5/1/2004 | 2001 vintage released |
| Our 2001 vintage was bottled in March 2004 after two years of maturation in French and American oak. It has received very favourable reviews. Limited supplies are still available. | |
| 2/1/2004 | Annual vineyard function |
| Studley Park Vineyard is not normally open to the public because of Council zoning restrictions. We normally, however, have an annual vineyard function to which our customers are invited. Water Usage in the Vineyard
Studley Park Vineyard has a responsible attitude towards water usage. Our vines are fully mature and require little watering. The trees and garden surrounding the vines, however, occasionally need hand watering when there has been no rain. The grass in the vineyard is not watered. We maintain our historical licence to pump water from the Yarra River but this is infrequently used.
Please note that the vineyard is not associated with any adjacent properties along the river and any queries about water usage on other properties should be directed to the owners of those properties.
